How does this impact my data?
During this period, some crawled items returned prices in an unexpected currency or with a null price. As of March 1, 2026, pricing data for the affected period has been updated: where a mismatched or null price was recorded, it has been replaced with the most recent valid price in the correct local currency. Pricing information on Amazon International datasets during the affected period may appear changed as a result of this correction.

Issue
Analytic Index has become aware that some of our crawl requests are returning pricing information for some items that is in a currency we do not expect. Because of how this data is processed, the result is being process as a null value. Because this pricing data is only a part of how pricing is reported in the application, price related dimensions and measures have only been affected with respect to a lack of representation from this crawl. After this is fixed, pricing from this Ad crawl will start to become a bigger part of the way that pricing is represented in the application.
Solution
For crawled items that return in a currency that is not expected or requests that are returned with a null price, the most recent "good price" will be used in place of the mismatched or null price. "Good price" is defined as a non null price in the currency that is expected for a given country's marketplace.

How does this impact my data?
Amazon.com price data was temporarily unavailable during this period, causing gaps in charts for metrics and reports that display or use average sales price, including category sales share. All data has been restored historically — no gaps remain and no workaround is needed.
