This article describes how your users can sign into Analytic Index using your organization’s Okta identity provider.

Your users are automatically created within Analytic Index the first time they sign in, but they will not have access to any data. Send a request to your account manager or support@analyticindex.com with a list of user email addresses who need access granted.
Requirements
You will need an Analytic Index account or contract.
You will also need administrator access to your organization’s Okta instance.
Configuration Steps
- Send a request to either your Analytic Index account manager or support@analyticindex.com, indicating that you would like to add SSO for your users. Analytic Index will create a new tenant for you and provide you a unique “Sign In Code” which you will need to complete the setup.
- Sign into your new Analytic Index tenant at https://app.analyticindex.com/login. On the login page, click “Enter a Sign In Code” and enter the unique Sign In Code you obtained in the prior step.
- Using the profile menu, navigate to “Integrations → Single Sign-on (SSO)”.
On this page we will need to enter some information from your Okta Admin Console. Leave this browser tab open while you complete the remaining steps. - Open your Okta Admin Console in a new browser tab or window.
- Navigate to “Applications → Applications”.
- Click “Browse App Catalog”.
- Search for “Analytic Index” and click “Add Integration”.
- Click on the “Sign On” tab.
- Click “Edit” and enter your unique Sign In Code into the field with the same label, then click “Save”.
- Still on the “Sign On” tab, copy the OpenID Connect “Client ID” and “Client Secret”, one at a time, to the corresponding fields within the Analytic Index tab.
- Switch back to the Analytic Index tab and enter your Okta domain (looks like https://myorg.okta.com) into the “Issuer” field.
- Once all the required information is copied or entered, click “Save SSO Config…” and confirm the save.
- Send a request to your Analytic Index account manager or support@analyticindex.com to schedule a migration of your users’ data to your new tenant.
SP-initiated SSO
- Go to https://app.analyticindex.com/login
- Click “Enter a Sign In Code”.
- Enter your organization’s unique Sign In Code when prompted.
- Click “Sign In…”
